Call for Oral Sessions and Posters

Would YOU Like to Present a Poster or Lead a Session at OHHN’s 2025 Spring Conference?

OHHN is inviting you to submit an oral session or poster abstract proposal for the 2025 Ohio Healthy Homes Network Annual Conference, taking place in Columbus on April 18th, 2025.

OHHN is an organization invested in the following topics and submissions should be focused on the following areas: indoor environmental quality, home weatherization, lead, mold, asbestos, radon, aging in home, and other healthy home initiatives. We want to hear more about the work you are doing to make Ohio healthier and provide a space for colleagues to share and collaborate. Join us and share your expertise! We look forward to hearing from you.

Oral Session Proposals

must include planned subject matter and brief description of the idea, problem, action/concepts related to the topic. Oral sessions will be for a one-hour time frame. Please include primary contact name, title/organization, and contact information. Proposals can be submitted in a Word document format and should not exceed 250 words.

Research Poster Abstract Proposals

must include background or introductory information, aim, methods, the results of the research/program, and a brief discussion/conclusion. Please include primary contact name, title/organization, and contact information. Proposals can be submitted in a Word document format and should not exceed 250 words.

Programmatic Poster Abstract Proposals

must include how the problem was recognized and studied, description of intervention, results to date, and discussion/lessons learned. Please include primary contact name, title/organization, and contact information. Proposals can be submitted in a Word document format and should not exceed 250 words.
Submissions should be sent to: Fred.Strahorn@OHHN.org. ALL proposals are due by 11/22/24. Notifications of acceptance will be sent via email by 1/10/24.

Questions? Email Fred.Strahorn@OHHN.org Posters will be on display for the entirety of the conference with a dedicated half hour for the poster session/Q&A. All session presenters will be required to register for the conference estimated at $70 per person. Scholarships based on need are available.
